The RIFT Create a Colossus Contest

Water colossus for the contest. I've never really submitted anything to one of these before. I like this piece well enough and it gave me the chance to experiment with color like I haven't had before, which is nice.

I'm just not sure it really suits the spirit of the contest. I think I just did my own thing somewhere along the way XD. Ah well. At least it got me painting again.

I think you have a chance with the contest. And even if you don't win, this could still come in handy for other things (unless this is a copyrighted creature?)

I think the painting looks great, especially the background (so pro!) and the little woman added to the scenery made me laugh. She's cute. :heart:

I'm not sure about the copyright they have for this contest and how all that works. I want to upload it to a couple of my other galleries but I hesitate to do so until after the contest.
